Working with Evaluation Details

Evaluation details represents data about the training event that is being evaluated. It is the data that uniquely identifies the event.

 

To work with evaluation details, click on the Evaluation Details tab on the Evaluation Project window.  This is the default view when a project is first opened.

 

From this view you can setup and modify the evaluation details

 

 

 

 

Setting up the Evaluation Details

 

 Click on the Evaluation Details icon on the left-hand side of the evaluation project window

or

 Double click anywhere in the box on the right entitled Evaluation details

or

 Right-click on the box on the right entitled Evaluation Details and select Evaluation Details

 

 

The following window then opens:

 

 

 

 

To set up the details of your evaluation, select each of the drop down boxes and choose the option that applies to your training event. Not all of the selections are compulsory so you can ignore items that are irrelevant to your training program.

 

If the option that you require is not already in the drop down list, select the Add a new... option which is the first item in each list. This will pop up a window which will guide you through adding up a new item to the list.

the right of each drop down box is a clear button . Clicking on this button clears the current  selection.

 

After you have finished making your selections, click on Save and the details you have selected will be saved to your project and the window will close.

 

Your evaluation project window will then look like this with all the selections you just made updating the window.

 

 

 

 

With the details of the learning intervention set up you can now set up the details of the delegates that will attend the training event. This step is important if you intend to send evaluation forms using e-mail.

 

To start adding details of the delegates, click on the button just by Delegates. See Working with Training Delegates for more information on setting up delegates.

 

 

Editing Evaluation Details

 

If you need to change your selections at any time, go through the same steps as you used when setting up the details originally.  Make the changes as necessary and then save your changes when you are satisfied.
