An evaluation type is a standard description that can be used across all forms to describe how a form is being used.

You are free to name your forms as you see fit. By using standard evaluation types you make the function of the form clear across evaluation projects.

By default when Trellis is set up you get the following standard evaluation types:

       Follow-up
       Instructor
       Needs Analysis
       Post-Event
       Pre-Event

To view the list of available evaluation types, from the application menu, select Details -> View Lists -> Evaluation Types

This window will then open:

Adding a New Evaluation Type

To add a new evaluation type see Adding a New Evaluation Type

Renaming an Evaluation Type

To rename an evaluation type, first select the evaluation type you want to rename from the list.

From the top left corner of the window click on the rename button

Or

Right-click and from the shortcut menu select Rename

The following screen window will then open:

Type in the new name for the evaluation type and when you are done, click Save. Your new name will be saved and the window will close.  The list will be updated with the new name and all evaluation projects that have made use of the old name will be updated to reflect the change.

Deleting an Evaluation Type

To delete an evaluation type, first select the evaluation type you want to delete from the list.

From the top left corner of the window, click on the delete button

Or

Right-click and from the shortcut menu select Delete

You will then be prompted to confirm your delete action.  Once you have confirmed this, the evaluation type will be deleted.  This action cannot be undone.

Where an evaluation type has already been used in an evaluation project, you will be unable to delete it unless you first remove it from all the places where it has been used.
