Options allow you to set the default  the values you want to apply to:

 

The font to be used for the differing form elements
The logo to be used for forms by
The font to be used for the analysis reports.
The drop-down list prompt to be used in e-mailed evaluation forms

 

Setting up defaults means you do not have to keep setting up values you would prefer to keep the same from one form to the other or from one set of analysis reports to another.

 

 

Setting Options

 

To set up options, from the application menu, select Tools -> Options...

 

This window will then open showing the form Fonts as the default view. You can make any changes as relevant from here.

 

 

 

 

The Logo sub item specifies which logo will be added to a new form by default.

 

To change the logo settings click on the Logo sub item.  Click on the Choose a Logo button to select a logo from the logo library. See Working with form Logos for more information on form logos.

 

 

 

 

The Analysis Reports font sub items specifies the font that will be applied to the analysis reports by default.  To change this font setting, select the Font sub item and then click on the font button .  This will pop up the font window allowing you to configure the appropriate font.

 

 

When you send an evaluation form by e-mail using Trellis 2011, the selected form is converted into a Microsoft Word form which the recipient fills out. Certain questions use a drop-down list to present choices to the respondent from which they must choose 1.

 

By default "Choose an option" is the text that will appear at the top of a drop-down list but you can change this to any text you require by clicking on Drop-Down List Prompt and making the relevant changes.
