Set up and activate users

Once you have installed your licence key, you will need to set up users who will have access to Trellis 2011 and so you will be prompted with the following window.

 

 

 

 

Any user that wants to work with Trellis 2011 must have their user name added to the user list within the application.  Only members of the Windows administrator group or the Trellis Administrator group have the rights to do this.  They also have rights to change user status from active to inactive and vice versa.

 

From application menu, select Tools -> Manage Users.... This window will then open.

 

 

 

 

Click on Add a New User on the top right corner of the window.  You will see the following window.

 

 

 

 

Complete this window by entering the users name against Full Name and then their Windows login name against Windows User Name. Set the status to Activated for as many valid licences as you have available. Click on Save to set up the new user on the system.  The window will then close and you will see the users name(s) in the Manage Users window.

 

 

 

Where you have a number of users to add, uncheck Close after Save? This will allow you to set up as many users as you need to without the window closing after each save.

 

With this stage complete, all users you have added and activated now have full access to the system and can now start working with Trellis 2011.
