To be able to restore a database, you need to have the appropriate rights on the database server to restore a database.

 

With these rights in place, enter the the name of the database you want to restore and then enter the path to the backup of the database.  Ensure that there are no users connected to the database before you attempt to restore it or it will be unable to carry out the restore.

 

Click on the Restore button to begin the restore operation. When the restore is complete, click on the Close button. You can then begin to use the newly restored database.
