Multi-user Windows client/server installation

 

Under this configuration, the SQL Server database will run on a computer separate from where Trellis is installed

 
Client:

 

•32 or 64 bit Windows XP with Service Pack 2 or later operating system

 

•Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 or higher. If this cannot be found the installer will install Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 sp2

 

•To use e-mail evaluations - Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word versions 2002 (XP) and up

 

•Display with 1024 x 768 or higher resolution

 

•Computer with Intel or compatible 1 gigahertz (GHz) processor or higher

 

•Minimum of 192 MB of RAM (512 MB or more is recommended)

 

•100 MB of available hard disk space. Up to 500 MB will be required if you do not have Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 or higher already installed

 

Server:

 

•32 or 64 bit Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 1, or later operating system

 

•SQL Server 2005, SQL Server 2005 Express Edition, SQL Server 2008,  SQL Server 2008 Express Edition.

 - SQL Server 2008 can be optionally installed using the Trellis installer. We recommend 1GB of available storage for installation.

 

If you're not running the Microsoft Windows 7 operating system, it is important that you download and install

Microsoft Windows Powershell before you install Marblewire Trellis 2011.

Microsoft website to download and install the version of Microsoft Windows Powershell appropriate for your operating system.

 

 

Single user Windows desktop installation

Trellis Online - Windows Web Server installation

 

•32 or 64 bit Windows Server 2003 R2 or later operating system

 

•Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 with service pack 2 or higher. If this cannot be found the installer will install Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 sp2

 

•280 MB of available storage on a 32 bit operating system and 610 MB for a 64 bit system.

 

•IIS 6.0 and later
