To create a new form from an existing one, you need to open an existing form and save it under a new name. You need to pay special attention as to whether you are copying a template form or a project form.

Opening the form to copy

If an evaluation project is open, by default when you attempt to open a form from the form designer, you will be shown the forms in the project as follows.

If you want to open a template form, you need to change the drop down selection captioned Look in from The Current Project to The Template Library as follows:

Select the form you want to open by either:

Double-clicking on the name of the form

Or

Selecting the form and then clicking on open

The form will then open and you will see the elements on the layout panel.

With the form open you can  save it to the template library or to the open evaluation project.  From the main menu, select form and then Save As.  This will open the save dialog window.
