Change the Status of a Sent E-mail

Once an e-mail has been sent by Trellis 2011, that e-mail will have a tick
against it indicating that it was sent successfully. If for some reason Trellis was unable to send the e-mail, there would be a cross against it
.
Trellis 2011 is not always able to determine when an e-mail delivery has failed so it provides functionality for you to mark what was originally a successfully sent e-mail as a bounce. You can then make the necessary changes to the e-mail address and then re-send it.
On occasion the e-mail server of the failed e-mail will send you a not delivered notification. To update Trellis 2011 with this information, from the Sent E-mails window, select the delegate whose status you want to change and the click on the edit status icon ![]()
The Edit Sent E-mail Status window will then open. To change the status, make a selection from the status drop down list and once you are happy with our selection, click on Save.

The new status will be saved and the window will close. You will now see the Sent E-mails window will be updated to reflect the new change as follows:

At any one time, there can only ever be 1 e-mail address with a successful e-mail delivery. If you resend an e-mail, the last successful e-mail will have it's status set to bounced.
Also once a reply has been received from a delegate, it will no longer be possible to change the status.
